So, yeah… Now there’s a Podcast
There has always been a discussion over putting out a podcast. The question we faced was: Does PromoEQP do this “in-house”, OR do we identify a respected industry voice that has something powerful to say (that is on brand with PromoEQP)?
The problem with doing a podcast in-house, is that after the 4th or 5th episode, most everyone would realize that I’m really just a broken record. Seriously, I’m essentially ALWAYS saying some deviation of the same thing:
“Distributors deserve access to competitive costs.”
“The Distributor is indispensable.”
Yeah… That’s my jam. It works for keeping PromoEQP laser focused on it’s mission — but is miserably redundant in a podcast form.
Enter Brandon Pecharich…
PromoEQP initiated a discussion with Brandon. The reasoning is simple: He is easily one of the most trusted and recognizable faces in the industry. For 7 years he has been appearing daily in your inboxes with the PromoErrDay series. Add on top of that his turn into interviews and industry speaking events. Hell, he even got one of the PPAI Awards for being important.
Regardless of the accolades and reasons for WHY Brandon is a big deal, it was Brandon’s vision for Mark8media that grabbed us. He envisioned a media platform that filled the current void of valued media resources in the industry. A platform that was capable of informing, entertaining, inspiring, and connecting something of value to a distributor audience. He recognizes the challenges many of you face — and recognizes the reasons for your justified cynicism in current slate of industry talking heads.
In essence… Brandon has a lot to say (and so far I deeply appreciate what I’m hearing). What he has to say will be seen in a new way that PromoErrDay interacts with a distributor at the beginning of 2025… There will be ongoing interviews with End-Buyers in the Trendsetters series… A new concept of distributor engagement with a newly established DNA benefit to PromoEQP… and a Distributor Pitch-Program so cool that I don’t want to spoil it before he has the ability to announce it.
